BEATS, lIGHT, AND VIBES: A NIGHT IN THE DJ BOOTH

Last night, the room pulsed with energy long before the dance floor filled up. From my spot in the booth, it wasn’t it wasn’t just about playing tracks, it’s was about setting the mood, building the anticipation, and connecting with every person in the room through music.

The warm glow of neon pink light reflected off the celling, bathing the space in a modern, electric atmosphere. In front of me, two laptops lit up with waveforms, beats per minute, and track lists, my cockpit for the night. Between them sat the heart of the setup: the DJ controller, alive with glowing pads and spinning jog wheels, ready to drop the next banger.

From behind the booth, I could see the bar buzzing, screen showing everything from sport to music videos. People chatted over drinks, waiting for that moment when the beat would drop, when the conversation would fade, and the music would take over.

For me DJing isn’t just pressing play, it’s storytelling. Each tracks is a chapter, each transition a plot twist. Last night [@VYBZ CLUB NIGHTLIFE LIEKKI PHASE 1] was about more than sound, it was about creating a shared experience. The crowd didn’t just hear the music, they felt it.
